Happy Valentine's Day!

Hehe, getting all festive today. I woke up at 5:30 this morning to cook waffles, bacon, and eggs for my family. Then after breakfast, I had to start getting ready for Ballet Class (I help with Creative Movement in the mornings).

What do you think?

So Much News!

I REALLY need to start posting again! I have so much going on, and lots of exciting things are happening with my life this year. There's just never enough time to fully enjoy life one day at a time! Maybe I should lobby that we add an extra 2 hours to each day and eliminate the last couple of days in December.... (totally kidding)

Anywho, dance concert went VERY well, people kept coming up to me (including some that I didn't really know) after the show to tell me how beautiful I was in my modern dance. All of the dancers had a great time together. Check out this picture, yes that is me...

Well now that dance concert is over with, it's time to start thinking about our spring recital! This year, it is going to be.... CINDERELLA!
I'm really excited! All the classes dance roles as a group (for example, Creative Movement dances as the mice, Ballet 2 dances as Princesses, etc.). Then the older girls get the lead roles such as Cinderella, The Stepsisters, Lead Mice, etc. Well, for the first time this year, I got a lead role!!!! It's the smallest of the lead roles, but that doesn't matter, because it is still 100% a lead role. Not to mention, I'm the youngest of the lead cast, and the only middle schooler... You are probably wondering what the role actually is, and the answer is, I'm a lead Princess! I'm super excited, cause I'm doing a duet EN POINTE!
Usually, at my studio, you don't get to dance en pointe for the shows until you are ballet 6 which is like, the 16 year olds... But I am getting to do this duet en pointe and I'm just really unbelievably excited!
Classes are going well, Right now I am taking 8 classes per week, plus I help teach 3. So in total, I dance about 12.5 hours a week. However, I'm sure that it will all pick back up again once Recital Rehearsals start in a month or so.

P.S. Not to mention, my birthday is tomorrow!
