Why do I love it? Well, you know how sometimes you learn a preparing for recital, and the teachers give you really easy choreography? Well this dance wasn't choreographed for our level. It was choreographed for the studio company. We are now doing it in Ballet 4 for the recital. The steps start out slow, but they get quite fast and fun! It has a lot of partner stuff, which is always fun! Whenever you are dancing with others and you look at them, you can't help to smile! It's so fun!
The steps are very fast, which makes them hard. But that's good! Hard steps means it takes more of an effort to learn, which makes it more fullfilling to perform when you're done! Anyway, here's the song we are doing it to!
Cool! In our church we had this little dance and ours was something like this-
ReplyDelete1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, Tap Front, 2, Tap Back, 4. Then we do a little cross step, turn around, and repeat the first beats. :-)
